SCLERAL LENSES
The SSL – Soflex Scleral Lens has been especially designed for a variety of eye conditions, where other contact lenses are ineffective, such as advanced Keratoconus, PMD, corneal trauma and Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Eye injuries as well as surgical complications and corneal transplants can be treated with the SSL. This lens design is unique and can be fitted to any irregular cornea, restoring vision and providing exceptional comfort.
The Soflex Scleral Lens is manufactured with state of the art CNC lathes, using modern raw materials that have exceptionally high oxygen permeability and remain stable.

The Soflex Scleral Lens has 3 zones:
The Optic Zone – an aspheric design to improve vision by reducing aberrations.
The Transition Zone – an aspheric curve which joins the OZ to the scleral zone
The Scleral Alignment Zone – a unique curve with a special edge design for improved comfort and reduced pressure.
